    MERU NATIONAL PARK -2 day trip.

Meru national park is (348 kms) from Nairobi. We will use Embu-Meru road, all-weather roads.
Meru is part of a complex of protected areas along the Tana River that includes the adjacent Bisanadi and Mwingi National Reserves, Kora National Park and Rahole National Reserve.
Meru people are among the friendliest people in the Kenya, which is easily reflected by their way of traditional greetings. Jambo na Karibu meaning ‘hello and welcome’ and shake hands to show love, respect and appreciation. The friendliness and the smiles on the faces of the people will remain permanently imprinted in your minds.

Wildlife-

1st Day. The Nairobi/ Meru National Park.
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive along the Mwea irrigation scheme to Meru town for lunch, arriving in the afternoon. Later proceed on a game drive.  Dinner and then overnight at the camp.

2nd Day. Meru National Park/Nairobi.
Another morning game drive in Meru National Park, then departs to Nairobi, arriving about 18:00hrs.

WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU
  • Drinking water, picnic items and camping equipment if you intend to stay overnight. Also useful are: binoculars, camera, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and guidebooks  
Accommodation on the trip safari in Meru national park, it will be fully catered for
